1) Why are you running to be a Member of Parliament?
I’m running because I’ve seen our freedoms erode firsthand. In February 2022, I watched the government invoke the Emergencies Act against the Freedom Convoy, who were peaceful truckers, veterans, and families in Ottawa, Windsor, and Coutts, and were labelled as threats for seeking accountability and answers from the government. As a father homeschooling a special needs son, I felt the sting of Bill C-4, a law that threatens parental rights by potentially criminalizing those who guide their kids away from state-driven ideologies. I fear a future where bureaucrats could force my son into a system that doesn’t understand him. Through The Lavigne Show, my independent journalism platform, I’ve spent years amplifying silenced voices, including doctors fired for questioning mandates, parents fighting for their kids, and Canadians crushed by overreach. I’m running to protect our Charter rights, defend families, and ensure no parent faces jail for raising their child their way. This isn’t just a campaign; it’s a mission for our kids’ future.
2) Why should people vote for you, and what skills do you have that make you suitable for this role?
Voters should choose me because I’m not a politician but a proven leader with a track record. Hosting The Lavigne Show, I’ve interviewed over 600 people, including scientists, lawyers, and everyday Canadians, honing my ability to listen, analyze, and advocate. My honours diploma in Law gives me a sharp legal mind, while my career as an award-winning technologist and entrepreneur shows I can innovate and deliver. I’ve built businesses from scratch, earning accolades for solving real problems. In Alberta and across Canada, I’ve led community efforts supporting various charities and rallying for small businesses hit by lockdowns. I’m a private pilot, a Mensa member, and a certified project manager, blending practical skills with intellectual rigour. My faith in God and unyielding commitment to truth drive me to serve with integrity. I’ll navigate Ottawa’s chaos with the same grit I’ve brought to every challenge, fighting for Parkland’s families with heart and skill.
3) What will you advocate for; and do you intend to fully tow the party line?
I’ll fight for what Parkland demands: sovereignty, energy dominance, and security. Locals tell me that 95% want bold change, like using Sections 91/92 of the Constitution to reclaim provincial power or even holding a referendum for independence. I’ll fight for Alberta to unleash its energy potential, including oil, coal, and natural gas, and create jobs and wealth. I’ll also demand mass deportation of illegal immigrants, tackling housing shortages and crime spikes that hit our communities hard. As a PPC candidate, I’m unbound by a party whip; my loyalty is to you, not a leader’s agenda. If Parkland wants separation, I’ll back it with every vote I cast. I’m here to amplify your voice, protect your rights, and stand firm against elite overreach, unapologetically without compromises.
4) How do you believe Canada’s federal government should tackle its current predicament with the United States, and where do you sit on Canadian sovereignty?
Canada needs tough trade talks with the U.S., not reckless tariffs that hurt our workers and families. Our leaders have been weak, prioritizing woke agendas over jobs and security. I’d push for deals that boost our exports while shielding our industries. On sovereignty, I’m fed up with a monarchy that treats us like a colony. I want a Constitutional Democratic Republic, built by Canadians through a national vote putting power in our hands, not a king’s. Picture a Canada thriving economically, standing proud beside the U.S., not grovelling. I’ll fight for a nation where Parkland’s ranchers, rig workers, and families shape our destiny, free from foreign or Ottawa’s grip.
Thank you, and God bless.
