Drayton Valley residents encouraged to make tax payments before office closure

With the tax payment penalty deadline quickly approaching, property owners in the Town of Drayton Valley are being reminded that a 15 per cent penalty will be applied to any outstanding balances effective January 1.

Town officials also say the Town office will be closed from Tuesday, Dec. 24, to Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, for the holiday season. Anyone not registered with the Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) is encouraged to ensure payments are made before the office closes.
