Due to a change in drivers, officials with the Town of Drayton Valley says they have had some missed recycling collections this week. However, things are expected to be back on track starting Monday.
This means residents can feel free to put out as much recycling as they need next week – the Town will pick up the extras.
If your waste/recycling gets missed, please report it using the Town’s customer service portal (www.draytonvalley.ca/customer-service-portal/) or give the public works office a call at 780.514.2240.
Also, as of Dec. 1, 2023, the hours of operation for the Recycling Depot will change to 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Town says they are implementing this change to prevent illegal dumping after-hours at the site. The Town’s goal is to maintain a clean and safe environment at the Recycling Depot.
