Brazeau County residents are invited to attend an information session at the County Office on Thursday, Feb. 20.
Organizers say this information session provides an opportunity for farmers and ranchers to learn more about two streams of funding available for agriculture projects in 2025 and will feature presentations from the Resilient Agriculture Landscape Program (RALP) and Alternative Land Use Services (ALUS).
Some of these eligible projects include:
- Pasture management
- Cropland conversion
- Tree establishment
- Pollinator habitat
- Wetland enhancement
- Landscape management
The information session is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and organizers say refreshments will be provided.
Residents with questions or concerns are being asked to contact Brazeau County Agriculture Services at 780-542-7777.
