Officials with the Town of Drayton Valley say they have received an application for changes to the Land Use Bylaw that would see a childcare facility built in the Commercial, Downtown District.
According to the Town, Land Use Bylaw 2020/12/D provides for pedestrian-oriented commercial uses and accessory residential uses to encourage redevelopment of the downtown core with more flexibility than other commercial districts.
In order to aid this decision-making process, officials say residents are encouraged to express their views in either written form (via email to plandev@draytonvalley.ca), or in person at the Civic Centre by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2.
More information is available on the Town of Drayton Valley website.
