The Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) has put out a Critical Wildfire Alert for everyone southeast of Drayton Valley.
On Wednesday at 5:37 p.m., the AEMA put out the Emergency Alert for Brazeau County for an “out of control wildfire”, resulting in an evacuation order.
Officials are advising that all in the area North of Township Road 482 and South of Highway 39, and West of Range Road 64 and East of Highway 22 must evacuate immediately.
“Bring important documents, medication, food, water and supplies for at least three days. Take pets with you,” the AEMA said in the alert.
They stated that Reception Centre information will be provided as soon as possible.

Officials said the alert will end in 23 hours and 49 minutes.
In central Alberta, the AEMA also put out a Wildfire Alert advisory for Ponoka County, southeast of Drayton Valley.
