June 16
10:13 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Request received for a wellbeing check on female on the sidewalk, may be in medical distress. Members attended, female was up and walking around, stated that she was tired and laid down for a rest.
10:28 am – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Report received of an individual owning firearms without a valid licence.
12:21 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Request received to remove a male from the Drayton Valley pool. Male has been in the bathroom for the past 30 minutes. Members attended and located known male who was sleeping. Male left when requested to.
12:54 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Report of a male in a green older truck has been driving aggressively near the high school. Thought to be a high school student. Member patrolled the area.
4:06 pm – Brazeau County – Members observed a vehicle stolen out of Two Hills. Vehicle was covertly followed. Members arrested two individuals, male and female, who were held for bail hearings and subsequently remanded.
5:11 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a dispute which occurred the previous night. Caller is at the property and would like police to attend while they gather their belongings. Member attended and kept the peace.
5:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Report received of a shoplifter at the Local Collective. Male wearing a brown coat with a red bag entered the shop. Male took a tube of hair gel then left. Members located known male. Complainant did not wish to proceed with charges.
6:45 pm – Drayton Valley – Member was requested to serve a subpoena on behalf of Grande Prairie detachment. Male has not lived in Drayton Valley for quite some time and now resides in Grande Prairie. Subpoena returned.
7:35 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of a suspicious male in the bushes on their property. Male is wearing a yellow/orange jacket and has a backpack, riding a white bike. Members attended and located known male who was riding to a property and stopped to have a smoke.
8:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Report of loud music coming from trailer. Members attended, individuals were moving their belongings out of the trailer. No loud music heard.
June 17
12:44 am – Drayton Valley – Caller requesting to locate family member who they had not heard from in approximately 4 months. Members were able to confirm the wellbeing of individual.
4:56 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Report received of a break and enter to clothing store in Drayton Valley. Door had been broken and shoes stolen from back of store. Matter is under investigation.
7:24 am – Drayton Valley – Report of a suspicious vehicle. Red GMC pulling a trailer. Member attended location, vehicle not located.
9:52 am – Brazeau County – Request to remove individuals from property. Executor of estate has asked individual living at the property to leave, however person is refusing. Member advised that this is a civil matter which needs to be dealt with through the landlord tenant board.
11:30 am – Drayton Valley – Call received from an individual requesting a wellbeing check on son. Further investigation revealed that son attends school in Stony Plain. Request forwarded.
11:40 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Report received of theft of cell phone. Complainant dropped cell phone and two females picked it up. Prior to attending, members were advised that the cell phone was recovered.
1:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Individual attended the detachment to discuss a situation which had occurred with their ex. Individual did not wish to pursue any charges, but wanted the information documented.
1:57 pm – Drayton Valley – Brougham Drive – Report received of an abandoned vehicle. Member attended and located the vehicle, which had been rented. The person who rented the vehicle advised that the vehicle had broken down.
2:03 pm – Brazeau county – RR 73 – residential alarm received. Owner got a hold of members prior to their leaving and advised the alarm was false.
2:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Report received of stunting in the Omniplex parking lot. Gold dodge Truck, black truck and a silver truck. Member attended and located vehicles. Tickets were issued.
2:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Report of a possible break and enter to residence. Members attended, resident had just returned home.
2:33 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of a suspicious person. Members attended and located known male by their vehicle. Male appeared to be intoxicated by drugs and was issued a 24 hour suspension.
3:17 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Complainant called to report someone cut the lock on one of the baseball diamond storage sheds. Members attended, doesn’t appear anything was taken.
5:11 pm – Brazeau County – 911 open line, only static heard. Member contacted business owner who wasn’t aware 911 had been called.
6:21 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of an erratic driver southbound on Hwy 22 near Tomahawk. Black Toyota Corolla tried passing on a double solid line. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
6:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – 911 open line, only static heard. Ongoing issue with telephone line.
8:09 pm – Drayton Valley – Request to conduct a wellbeing check on individuals who have set up a makeshift tent. Member conducted patrols in the area, individuals not located.
8:18 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of a male and female jumping in and out of traffic. Member attended the area, individuals had left. Patrols made, individuals not located.
9:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Report received of a poss8ible intox8icated driver. White/tan van is doing donuts in the parking lot of the restaurant. Members located the vehicle by the OCT. Member conducted a traffic stop. GDL driver blew two fail readings on the breath demand. Drivers licence seized, vehicle towed.
11:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
June 18
2:47 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Report received of an assault. Sone came home and told them they were assaulted by known female. Matter is still under investigation.
9:19 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Report received of mischief received. Damage to the storage shed lock. Nothing missing.
10:16 am – Drayton Valley – 50A street – Report of two males on bikes carrying copper wire. Member attended area, individuals not located. Members checked another location and located the bikes, but no individuals.
10:54 am – Tomahawk – Report received of a neighbour dispute over property line. One party wants to build a fence. Member attended, one party had the property surveyed and the other party disagrees with the survey. Member spoke with all parties involved.
11:29 am – Rocky Rapids – Report of a family dispute received. Members attended and all parties separated.
1:05 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of a deceased deer in the middle of the highway. Member attended and removed deer.
1:30 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of an erratic driver in a silver car. Vehicle is passing other vehicles unsafely. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
3:11 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting they were driving on Hwy 620 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
10:04 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Report of an aggressive dog in the trailer park. Dog is on a chain and keeps barking and lunging at people. Complainant spoke with the owners who were verbally abusive.
10:49 pm – Brazeau County – 911 open line received, talking heard in background, then someone turned up the music. Member called number and spoke with individual who was camping out by Lodgepole. Pocket dial.
11:41 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle unsafely change lanes. Driver issued a violation ticket.
June 19
12:13 am – Drayton Valley – 47A Avenue – Report received of a stolen kayak. Kayak is described as a single person, orange and yellow with a black seat with stickers.
1:43 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
8:18 am – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Report received of a stolen 2002 Black Ford SRT. Vehicle had been stolen from business yard.
10:30 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of suspicious persons on bikes near the dump. Member attended and patrolled the area. Homeless camp behind the dump.
11:43 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Report of a residential panic alarm received. Member attended and spoke with the resident who advised that they had hit the button by accident.
3:48 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of shoplifting at the IGA. Groceries were recovered.
10:13 PM – Drayton Valley – 56 Avenue – Report received of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at the Cardium Theater. Members attended and spoke with staff members who wished a male removed from screening room 3 as they were yelling at staff and other patrons. Members located the male who was removed. Male was uncooperative, however eventually left the property.
June 20
1:04 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Request for members to remove 2 individuals from a trailer in Center Court Trailer Court. Male had left while call was being made. Members attended and spoke with female who was packing their belongings. Female left trailer.
6:35 am – Drayton Valley – 20 Avenue – Request to check on a female who had been picked up in Edson. Female was acting erratically. Members attended and took female to hospital.
8:37 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Complainant reported that they were travelling east on Hwy 621 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
9:31 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant called to report a male had been in the family bathroom for the past hour and won’t leave. Members attended and spoke with known male who had fallen asleep. Male left without incident.
9:46 am – Tomahawk – 50 Street – Report received of a neighbour dispute. Neighbour is aggressive towards complainant and continues to play loud music. Member provided information on how to obtain a restraining order.
11:03 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised they were travelling on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch causing them to swerve to avoid hitting the deer. Complainant’s vehicle hit the cable railing causing damage.
11:17 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant advised they were travelling north on Hwy 22 when a moose came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
11:36 am – Drayton Valley – 38 Street – Complainant reporting they were on private property when a tool box rolled into the passenger door of their vehicle.
11:40 am – Brazeau County – RR 80 – Report received of an unknown male being verbally abusive. No threats were uttered.
1:33 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting damage to lease site. Cable wire had been cut but suspect did not remove as it was not copper.
2:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – Report received of a two vehicle collision. No injuries. One vehicle was parked and the other attempted to park in the spot to one side and collided with the vehicle. Driver of suspect vehicle left without exchanging information.
4:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of a suspicious male hanging around in the parking lot. Member attended and located known male who was asked to leave.
5:38 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of a neighbour dispute. Member attended and male removed. Ongoing issue.
6:16 pm – Parkland County – RR 73 – Report received of a missing person. Male has not been heard from all day. Had gone quadding at approximately 9:00 am. Dog had returned without owner. Quad located stuck. While awaiting assistance from Search and Rescue and police dog services, family member called to advise that the male had been located uninjured.
6:32 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a fire alarm at apartment building received. Members attended with Fire Department. Fire alarm had gone off as a result of a pot on the stove. No injuries, no structural damage.
6:35 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of an abandoned 911 call. Member contacted caller who advised that a truck that was hauling dirt and rocks which were falling off and hitting other vehicles on the road.
6:47 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of a possible break and enter to business. Male is attempting to get into fenced compound by digging under the fence. Member attended, no male present and no damage to property. Interior compound searched.
7:15 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of a female walking into traffic. Members attended, female had left prior to arrival. Patrols in area made, female not located.
7:36 pm – Tomahawk – Report received of theft of fuel from transport truck. Further investigation revealed that no fuel had been taken. Ongoing issue between neighbours.
7:45 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Report received of a missing person. Husband had gone out to clean the car and had not returned for some time. Patrols made, vehicle located back at the residence. Male had decided to go for a drive and lost track of time.
8:08 pm – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge – Request for members to conduct a wellbeing check on individual who was upset. Two individuals were having an argument. Members attended and spoke with both parties who explained a verbal argument had begun over one party living there. Individual gathered their belongings and left.
8:17 pm – Drayton Valley – Report received of possible gun shots.
11:21 pm – Parkland County – RR 72 – Report received of an abandoned vehicle in a field. Member attended and located a farm tractor that had the lights left on it from earlier. No offence.
June 21
1:11 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Noise complaint received. Individuals are doing mechanical work on vehicle. Members attended and located individuals who were advised to stop and resume during the day.
2:02 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of a suspicious person. Vehicle is in the driveway honking the horn. Vehicle left and complainant followed until advised not to continue. Member to contact the registered owner of vehicle.
8:24 AM – Brazeau County – Complainant called to report a fraud. Further investigation revealed that this is related to the settling of an estate and therefore is a civil matter.
10:11 am – Brazeau County – Report received of a break and enter to a cabin. Occurred sometime over the past 4 days. Lock had been cut on the gate. Members attended, side by side, flat tilt deck trailer stolen.
10:14 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Report received of a male sleeping between the garage and fence inn the alley. Members attended and located known male who was asked to move on and did so without issue.
1:44 pm – Tomahawk – Report received of a dispute between room mates. Cell phone stolen, however complainant has not yet asked the room mate. Matter is still under investigation.
1:52 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Report of a suspicious person at a residence. Neighbour reporting. Members attended, not suspicious, individual is a resident of the property.
2:47 pm – Drayton Valley area – Report received of a fraud. Complainant reporting numerous transactions totalling $13,622 have been taken from bank account. Bank has frozen account. Matter is under investigation.
2:59 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of a 2 vehicle collision. One vehicle rear ended the other. Driver of one vehicle has minor injuries. Both occupants of one vehicle taken to hospital for assessment.
10:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Report received of an unwanted male. Member attended and located known male who had been invited over, however complainant now wanted them removed. Male left when requested by members.
June 22
9:33 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
10:03 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Request to assist EMS with a female. Member attended, female identified, female had become aggravated with EMS, however became compliant once members attended.
10:21 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of a neighbour dispute. Member resolved matter
10:29 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Individual reporting an abandoned vehicle. White Enclosed Cargo Trailer has been there for approximately one week. Member attended and conducted queries on the plate which did not come back as stolen.
10:41 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – complainant advised they were driving on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
11:29 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a panic alarm at liquor store. Member attended and located individual who was training new employee and was testing the alarm. No issues.
12:00 pm – Lodgepole – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for driving while disqualified.
1:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Report received of a possible break and enter to business. Window on the side of the building had been broken. No entry made.
2:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Report received of unwanted persons. Persons had been recently evicted and were attempting to gain entry into apartment. Member attended and advised individuals they were not to be there.
3:02 pm – Drayton Valley – Report received of shoplifting.
3:04 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of an erratic driver in a Blue Ford Escape. Member located vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, driver not impaired.
3:08 pm – Parkland County – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
3:16 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of a break and enter to the matador Hotel. Member attended, no entry made, window secured.
4:17 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of an abandoned vehicle. Black Chevrolet Cavalier has been sitting on a driveway for the past week. Owner of property knew about the vehicle. Vehicle not stolen.
4:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing driver on their cell phone. Driver issued a violation ticket.
9:01 pm – Drayton Valley – 47A Avenue – Complainant requesting members attended to assist individual who was stuck in a swing. Members attended and assisted removing individual from swing.
10:41 pm – Drayton Valley – Report received of a male pushing a makeshift motorcycle up the hill on 50 Street. Patrols made in area, males not located.
June 23
1:30 am – Drayton Valley – Report received of threats uttered. Complainant is concerned property will be damaged. Member provided information on how to obtain a restraining order.
